Overview of Full Stack Developer Position:
• Collaborate with world-class product, design, operations, and engineering teams to determine which features and solutions will deliver the most value for the business and the best experience for the users.
• Own, develop, and deliver end-to-end feature implementations spanning both the frontend and backend. You will take features from design, to implementation, to polish, to shipping, to monitoring and measuring progress.
Typical Day of a Full Stack Developer:
• Actively participate in design discussions and collaborate with the product team to ensure web and mobile interfaces are user-friendly and intuitive, while integrating effectively with backend services and APIs.
• Review code and continuously level up by collaborating with other engineers on the team.
• Help shape their engineering culture by introducing best practices, tools, and methods of knowledge-sharing for building best-in-class products.
• Be able to define and effectively communicate technical and design requirements.
Skill Set Required For Position:
• 1-3 years of full-stack development experience.
• Proficiency with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue, and backend technologies like Node.js, Django, or Ruby on Rails, financial data.
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with web servers, application architecture, and deployment strategies.
• A solid grasp of version control tools, preferably Git.
• Experience in integrating third-party services and APIs into a complex application ecosystem.
